Voltage on power supply adaptor?

Hi is it safe to use a power supply with these ratings -
Input 230v - / 50Hz / 145mA
Output 15v - /1.2A
For an innotab which reccomends
7.5v - 400mA or 9v - 300mA AC/DC adaptor

yes thank you, i am not innumerate. What i wanted to know is will the extra 6v make it unsafe to use? as it does work with that psu, and clearly the voltage doesn't have to be exact.

I would not recommend that at all.That voltage difference is too great, you're going to need a new power supply adapter unfortunately. The batteries will pretty much be toast along with any regulating circuitry intended for a lower voltage input. They do have some +/- tolerance to them but not that much.
