How do you record camcorder footage to dvd using a dvd/vhs combo recorder?
I hooked the camcorder up to the a/v inputs in the back of the TV, the video plays on the TV but when i record to DVD it plays back whatever is on cable (tv shows). In order to see the camcorder footage I have to press the TV/Video button on my TV, so I tried to push the TV/Video button on the DVD recorder Remote Controller and it still records cable. How do I configure this? Not sure of the brand name but the model of the combo recorder is SV2000. (lost the manual)
I would try to reduce the variables and make this as simple as possible.
If possible, connect the camcorder directly to the DVD. If that doesn’t work check to see if the DVD recorder has a switch (hardware or via menu) to select the input source.
You may also have luck searching the internet for the user’s guide/manual for the SV2000.
